We are aware of the rapidly changing outlook for travel in the current climate and appreciate that this global crisis is evolving too fast to keep updated with.  Our travel plans are therefore to be briefly curtailed, but the travel industry is resilient and has faced major challenges to world travel before.

Peru named one of the world’s best food destinations to visit 

Peru has again proved its status as one of the world’s best food destinations to visit by securing two spots in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Lima, Peru’s capital city, is home to two of the restaurants in the top 10: Central by Virgilio Martínez was recognised as the sixth best restaurant in the world, whilst the Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant Maido secured the number 10 spot. Central was also recognised as the #1 best restaurant in South America, with its strong focus on Peruvian produce such as the country’s many varieties of corn and potato, as well as much more obscure products offered by Peru’s vastly biodiverse landscape.

Astro-tourism in Chile - Total Solar Eclipse December 2020

Chile’s pristine dark skies make it one of the premiere astro-tourism destinations in the world, ideal for amateur and professional stargazers alike. Following the total solar eclipse in July 2019, best viewed from Chile’s Elqui Valley, the phenomena is set to continue in 2020. The Chilean Lake District, south of Santiago will be the best place to view the total solar eclipse due in December 2020. Hot new hotel openings to sing about in Nashville
