Hannah graduated from the University of Nottingham with an undergraduate Masters degree in International Relations and Global Issues, which included a year of study at Sciences Po in Paris and a number of courses on U.S. government and politics. Always with one eye on the UK and the other looking abroad, upon graduating Hannah worked at the Royal Institute of International Affairs conducting research and organising events for visiting dignitaries such as then Nigerian Presidential nominee Muhammadu Buhari (now President of Nigeria).
Following a period of time at the Ethiopian Embassy in London and a stint travelling around the U.S., Hannah joined Hills Balfour. Since then she has lead on a wide variety of accounts, specialising in the U.S. and Africa, including San Francisco, Greater Fort Lauderdale and Brand USA. As a result of this experience, she has extensive knowledge of, and relationships within, the travel industry in the UK for U.S. travel as well as an in-depth understanding of Florida product, having visited the state countless times for fam trips, Florida Huddle, and head office meetings.
During her time managing Greater Fort Lauderdale across UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, she also chaired the Florida's Beaches coalition and organised activities for partners, including Visit St Pete/Clearwater at shows like FDM, Swanson's, Ferie for Alle and Matka. Additionally, working closely with Visit Florida has given her great relationships with other Florida CVBs and important stakeholders. As a Sales & Marketing Senior Account Manager, Hannah is responsible for developing strategic activities for her accounts, hitting KPIs and ensuring new and disruptive ideas gain cut through in the marketplace.
