Brand USA’s Travel Week, Media Forum and CEO Summit U.K. & Europe 2022
In 2022, for the fourth consecutive year, our Brand USA team was tasked with executing another Travel Week – as well as the first ever in-person Media Forum and the second CEO Summit – to promote travel to the United States. It took place in Frankfurt, Germany, September 26th – 29th.
The events included pan-European agency coordination, event management, speaker programming, buyer and media recruitment, press briefings, networking sessions, a series of 1:1 appointments, hosting logistics and reporting. The team saw a turnout of 600+ attendees across 4 days, including 175 U.S. exhibitor attendees and 130+ buyer attendees, from across 19 countries with over 4,000 successful appointments amongst U.K. and European trade and media and U.S. tourism boards driving visitation to the United States. The total reach of U.K. & European earned media articles was over 9,500,000 within the first week of the event.
This year also saw the return of the CEO Summit where 28 CEO’s from the exhibitor companies attended and met with top U.K. and European media. 60 CEO interviews took place via a series of roundtable media meetings, as well as six thematic press briefings and six aviation sessions.
A new addition to the event this year was Brand USA Media Forum where 50 of the U.K. and Europe’s leading travel media met with US exhibitors in over 700 pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings.
