BRIEF

To find a new technology platform to help re-connect and rebuild travel agent communities and help conduct innovative B2B sales and marketing activities throughout the pandemic and beyond.

ACTION

Hills Balfour became a launch partner for Hablo, the new social media platform dedicated to the travel and tourism industry.

The platform allows destinations to streamline their B2B communications and reconnect and re -engage with their global travel trade communities, all on one platform.

The inbuilt technology allowed the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp to continue to engage and educate the UK & Ireland travel trade on everything that was happening in Music City, despite the challenges that the pandemic had presented.

RESULTS

Destination posts and online webinars kept agents informed on the constantly evolving safety protocols that the city had implemented, along with destination product updates including new and exciting hotel, museum, retail and attraction openings.

NCVC also launched a number of incentives on Hablo to reward agents for engaging in their activity and to say thank you for supporting the city during lock down. The city even showcased the Nashville Big New Year’s Eve Bash with an exclusive viewing of the live music extravaganza for key trade clients.
