Live broadcast opportunity with the UK’s biggest daytime TV show, This Morning

ACTION

In February, Hills Balfour secured an exciting live broadcast opportunity with the UK’s leading daytime television show This Morning on ITV. The team worked with the show’s production team, RDB and local film crew, Igihe to coordinate a live link-up to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park to interview one of the park’s ranger and stream the Gorillas in their natural habitat live into people’s homes across the UK.

ITV’s This Morning receives a daily TV audience of two million viewers and a 22% audience share with an average of six million individual viewers per week. This Morning has more than six million followers across social media and the show’s core audience profile are Female ABC1 viewers aged 16-45 years old.

In addition to the episode’s live audience, a clip from the live footage was shared across multiple social media platforms including by This Morning, the show’s sponsors, Sky, and celebrity presenter, Holly Willoughby’s twitter and instagram and has subsequently been viewed over a million times. The episode was also hosted on ITV’s hub and was covered by the Daily Express online including the video clip.

RESULTS

In total this broadcast coverage reached approximately 56,860,914 viewers/monthly unique users with a total AVE of £125,028.
