Hills Balfour Regional Roadshow 2019
Hills Balfour hosts an annual media mission known as the ‘Hills Balfour Regional Roadshow’. This year, a total of forty one-to-one media meetings were held across seven UK cities, with twenty clients represented over three weeks.
Face-to-face media meetings remain the focus for maintaining, improving and creating relationships with media. This valuable time on the road meeting regional journalists who generate great coverage for engaged, local audiences is a vital aspect of the agency’s award-winning service for
clients. Knowing press releases are often overlooked, the PR team were able to increase awareness of the Hills Balfour client list and discuss client news such as; ‘Rembrandt, Vermeer & the Dutch Golden Age: Masterpieces from The Leiden Collection and the Musée du Louvre’ exhibition opening at Louvre Abu Dhabi, Luxury HALL Arts Hotel opening in Dallas (autumn 2019) and Vienna’s restaurant week.
Events took place in Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and Brighton. Hills Balfour was represented by a cross section of the PR team working together to each project manage a city. Media in attendance included, but is not exclusive to, The Telegraph, Metro, The Sun
(Scotland), Sunday Post, Cheshire Life, The Yorkshire Post and Beyond magazine.
Since the roadshow, the media who attended are generating news coverage, attending press trips and events. Using the #HBontour hashtag, the Hills Balfour Regional Roadshow also generated social media coverage.
